It employs polygonal 3D graphics which allow for dynamic camera movements, but gameplay is strictly two-dimensional, with players and enemies always on the same plane. The players control helicopters and must take down hordes of terrorist or rebel army aircraft, tanks and ships. Three different helicopters (the real Apache and Cobra and the fictional Nakajima Gunship) and three scenarios (Asia, USA and Europe) of five levels each are available. A bonus Expert level features a selection of levels from the regular scenarios with increased difficulty. The helicopters are armed with a normally forward-facing gun whose firepower can be upgraded via power-ups, and smart bombs that destroy all enemies and their bullets nearby. The main gun automatically locks onto enemies for a limited time, which allows the helicopters to fly around or behind enemies while still firing at them. Published on site: 2nd of April, 2024
