Description: Recording Info -------------- Title: Tenchu 3: Wrath of Heaven Composed by: Noriyuki α Asakura Arranged by: Noriyuki α Asakura Remixed by: Kentaro! (58) Vocals by: "Addu'a" = feat. Yui Murase (1) Copyright/Company: Activision Publishing Inc. (2003) System: Sony PlayStation 2 Encoding Format: LAME 3.100 - Variable Bitrate - -V 0 --vbr-new - MP3 File Size: 346 MB Release Date: October 6, 2024 Recorded by: Arc Translated by: Arc (https://vgmdb.net/album/1921) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. ---- Though this game's official album "Tenchu 3 Original Sound Track" (SVWC-7177~8) is very complete track-wise, ALL tracks are LOOPLESS. This production is made to justify Noriyuki Asakura's outstanding work With PSound (utility for listening to and extracting PS2 sound files), 25332 files (!!!) are detected. These files contain the game's dialogue (both English and Japanese) and sound effects, most of which are duplicates, and many differ in pitch and tempo from the game. Sorting them out one by one is backbreaking, so I have omitted it. Listening (and watching) to the game's dialogue via YouTube videos would be a friendlier approach The tracks are ordered according to their earliest availability, played in order of these characters from beginning to end: Rikimaru > Ayame > Tesshu Track 1 contains sound effects even when turned off Tracks 17 and 47 share the same trackname. 17 is Onikage's signature theme, while 47 is his cutscene theme Tracks 22, 24, 31, 32, 37, 48, and 57 only play during the in-game cutscenes. As some of these cutscenes end before the melody runs even once, these tracks are "patched" from the OST, which, thankfully, is not remastered. I own a copy of the OST in FLAC, so audio quality would not be compromised Track 28 follows the OST trackname "Great Buddha Temple", when the in-game location is called "Buddha Temple" Track 58 is an OST-only remix track, included here for completion Tracks 59~62 are taken from the OST and looped. These tracks are seemingly unused in the game, but I suspect they do. Having played all three characters' storylines (including alternate routes) and crosschecking with YouTube playthroughs, still, I fail to identify their origins. Please email me if you know anything All tracks are translated by myself, and can be found here: https://vgmdb.net/album/1921 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Regards, Arc (Yggdrasil2013@gmail.com) Published on site: 9th of October, 2024
