Description: 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist is an action beat-up game, made by Konami and released for the Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive systems in 1992. The story is in a typical TMNT fashion: Shredder has gained the powers of the Hyperstone, allowing him to destroy the New York City. Turtles, being the heroes they are, are obviously set to stop himbefore the city gets stolen by the hands of evil.

The gameplay of The Hyperstone Heist is heavily based on the second TMNT arcade game, Turtles in Time, which was ported to the Super NES during the same year. The controls are similar to Turtles in Time, but the ability to dash is now assigned to a specific button and the player can no longer throw enemies towards the screen.

The game hasn't gotten a single re-release until TMNT: Cowabunga Collection from 2021-2022, released on the current generation platforms (PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC).
