Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a beat-up style platformer that was developed by Konami and released on Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Windows and Xbox in 2003, just in time to support (by-then) the most recent 2003 4Kids Series. The game consists of "sections" where you go from parts of the episodes of the show, particularly the first Season. All versions of the game have additional content other than the main campaign, such as costumes, Boss Rush and more. This would be the first game in the 2003 Game Trilogy, along with TMNT 2: Battle Nexus and TMNT 3: Mutant Nightmare.

UnLike the rest of the re-releases, the GBA port is in a 2.5D perspective to accomondate for the limitations of the hardware. Also, in order to beat the game, you have to play in Normal Mode and best all 4 of each Turtles' campaigns. The story is also far more consistent than the rest.
