Strife! is the seventh (formerly eleventh) official album released on the Homestuck Bandcamp, and is the second solo album to be released by an individual member of the Homestuck music team. Made by Joren "Tensei" de Bruin, the album is constructed around the theme of "strifes"—Homestuck's term for combat encounters. Featuring a song each representing one of John, Rose, Dave, or Jade along with a few extra tracks, Strife! is an experimental rock album combining intense guitar, bass, and drums with unconventional instruments such as the piano, violin, turntables, and traditional Japanese shamisen.
