Description: 

Pharaohs' Curse is a side-view puzzle platform game in which the player controls a treasure hunter, collecting ancient Egyptian gold. The exit door on each level opens only when all the pieces of gold have been collected.

Getting past the levels requires clever usage of shovels, pickaxes, hammers and drills. These tools can break through one or two layers of walls or floors, but are one-use only. Once picked up, a tool cannot be dropped until it is used, and the player character can't jump while holding a tool. The player can also find knives and boomerangs which can be thrown to kill the hostile mummies roving the levels, although a killed mummy soon reappears. Other elements found in the levels include pushable boulders, floors and ladders that vanish after being passed over twice, and pushable doors. The levels are all wraparound, so that falling through the floor will result in the player emerging from the ceiling.

A level editor is included.
