Metroid Zero Mission (メトロイド ゼロミッション in Japan and 密特罗德：零点任务 in China) is a 2004 remake of the original 1986 game for the NES, released on Game Boy Advance.

This remake adds vastly improved graphics, better physics, abilities from Super Metroid etc.

The story got expanded as well. It is similar to the original, but now has a special second part of the story where you get attacked by Space Pirates and your ship crash lands on Zebes again. As Zero Suit Samus, you must get through Chozodia to recover your Power Suit back and get the unknown abilities you collected throughout the first part,and then defeat Mecha Ridley and destroy Space Pirate Mothership.


In the same year,the game got re-released in China (with permission by a Chinese video game company iQue to do so) and later for the Wii U in the mid 2010s.
