This file is downloaded from https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/leapfrog-didj-custom-gaming-system-gamerip-2008 Name: LeapFrog Didj Custom Gaming System Alternative Titles: Didj LeapFrog Didj Learning System Lightning Year: 2008 Developed by: LeapFrog Enterprises Published by: LeapFrog Enterprises Description: An educational console from 2008 where the main gimmick was it being customizable. It had custom skins that you could physically apply to the console (like the GBA Micro), custom avatars (like the Wii and Xbox 360) and DLC/cheats that you could unlock by playing the games to earn Bitz. The firmware was composed by both Kristin Miltner (various sound effects and jingles) and Walter Scharold (boot jingle, home screen BGM loop). It wasn't a success, but the hardware would later get repurposed to make the Leapster Explorer and LeapPad Explorer. A similar, more homebrew-focused handheld known as the GP2X Wiz also used the same SoC about half a year later. Published on site: 28th of September, 2024
