One night, Boyfriend finds a mysterious package sitting in front of his house.
No sender name.
No return address.
Inside, there is only an old game cartridge, labeled in messy handwriting:

“EB X UT”

Curious, Boyfriend plugs the cartridge into his console.

The screen boots up…
EarthBound 2 – Halloween Hack appears.

But something is wrong.

The colors are darker than they should be.
The music glitches and warps.
And as Boyfriend plays deeper into the game,
he realizes that the world has changed.

Enemies that don’t belong in EarthBound appear.
Bosses have been replaced by monsters from another world.

From Undertale.

With no way to quit the game, Boyfriend pushes forward,
fighting through corrupted towns and twisted battlefields.

Until he reaches the final area.

Waiting for him is a familiar skeleton with a lazy grin.

Sans.

“heh… looks like you made it this far, kid.”

Now Boyfriend must face the final rhythm battle.
Win — and escape the cursed cartridge.
Lose — and remain trapped in the corrupted game forever.
