This Google Doodle honors Independence Day in the United States by combining two symbols of American culture: baseball and backyard cookouts. The player will control a team of different foods one would find at a July 4th celebration, like hot dogs, ice cream and watermelon. The field looks like a picnic blanket and is manned by a team of peanuts. The pitcher will pitch in various styles, and the player must click to swing their bat at the right moment. They can hit a single all the way up to a home run. The player gets three strikes total across all players, as a strike with one character will carry over to the next batter. Three strikes results in an out and ends the game.
