This soundtrack was recorded from a real SEGA Genesis (NTSC, Model 1, VA7 with Mega Amp mini 2.0 mod set to filtered mode) using a Mega Everdrive X3 cartridge. All tracks were recorded at 96 KHz 24-bit using a Sound BlasterX G5 sound card and the stereo headphones jack located at the front of the Mega Drive. Every track was recorded by using the game's sound test and playing the game. Track titles are based on the sound test. "Try Again!" and "Good Job!" aren't in the sound test but the titles are based on text that appears on screen when these tracks play.
