The gameplay resembles the classic Bomberman series from which it draws inspiration. Unlike later installments in the Bomb It series, only a single game mode is available.

4 players compete in a single-screen arena with a randomized wall layout. 2-player local coop play is supported with two sets of controls on the same device, whilst the other players are AI-controlled.

Players are equipped with bombs which can be dropped on the player's current tile. These explode in a cross pattern after a countdown, destroying walls and other players in its explosion. Bombs are also set off when in contact with another explosion. Weapons and other power-ups have a chance of appearing in the destruction of a wall.

The game lasts 15, 20, or 25 levels, depending on the difficulty. The player loses a life if the player character is eliminated or the 3-minute timer reaches 0. Upon losing, the same level is repeated. A level is won by eliminating all AI opponents.

These sounds are ripped from the Flash version of Bomb It using JPEXS.
